Refund & Cancellation Policy – ZapGaadi

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all bookings made with ZAPGAADI PRIVATE LIMITED (“ZapGaadi”).


1. General Policy

  • All cancellations must be made as per the timelines mentioned below.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 2–3 working days to the original payment method.
  • Applicable deductions will be made as per the policy.

2. Advance / Partial Payment Bookings

  • Bookings made via phone call with advance payment are non-refundable.
  • In case of partial payment bookings, 100% of the paid amount will be deducted, and no refund will be issued.

3. Full Payment Bookings

a. Cancellation before 72 hours

  • If cancelled more than 72 hours before pickup,
    👉 25% deduction will be applied
    👉 Remaining amount will be refunded

b. Cancellation between 72 to 24 hours

  • If cancelled between 72 and 24 hours before pickup,
    👉 75% deduction will be applied
    👉 Remaining amount will be refunded

c. Cancellation within 24 hours

  • If cancelled within 24 hours of pickup,
    👉 100% deduction
    👉 No refund will be issued

4. No Show Policy

  • If the user:
    • Fails to appear at pickup location
    • Cancels within 2 hours of pickup time

👉 It will be treated as a No Show
👉 Only the security deposit (if any) will be refunded


5. Document Verification & License Issues

  • If the ride is cancelled due to:
    • Failure to present a valid Driving License
      👉 80% deduction will be applied
  • If booking is made using a blocked or invalid license
    👉 25% deduction will be applied
  • If booking is made before account approval and:
    • Documents are found fake or forged (DL, Aadhaar, PAN, etc.)
      👉 25% deduction (maximum ₹3,000)
      👉 Account may be blocked and legal action may be taken

6. Coupon & Offers

  • Any coupon code used in a cancelled booking:
    • Will be considered used
    • Will not be reissued or reactivated

7. Important Legal Notice

Providing false identity or documents such as:

  • Fake / expired Driving License
  • Fake Aadhaar, PAN, or other IDs

is a criminal offense under Indian law.

ZapGaadi reserves the right to:

  • Cancel such bookings
  • Deduct applicable charges
  • Take legal action if necessary

8. Refund Mode

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
  • Processing time: 2–3 working days (may vary depending on bank/payment gateway)
